Hi Kaladhar,

Greetings! Thanks for your response last time. I am going to submit my application to CIO. I just want to know few things which I am a bit confused whether I should send these documents with my application or not. Firstly, I have got a new passport as my old passport got expired and I applied to MPNP with this new passport. Now, according to CIC I have to submit copies of valid passport showing personal data and visa page if I am living in a country other than my country of origin. CIC has also asked to submit travel form where I should mention which country I and my spouse visited or lived. In my previous passport there are documents showing the expired visas, residence permit of Japan (I lived there for 6 years), USA and Iran (I visited for conference). Is it necessary to send the copies of expired (not valid anymore) passport copies showing the countries where I visited. Although CIC did not ask to submit in valid copies of passport or past visa copies. Could you kindly suggest me in this regard. Anybody experience in such kind issues are also welcome to make commments.

I am looking forward for your comments. I am planning to send my application within 1-2 days.

Thanks and regards,
Eusufzai

Hi, you're welcome. Please include the first & last couple of pages along with the photocopies of the pages that have your visas or stickers from your new valid passport . For the "Travel Info Form", you can include the details from the old passport if they have requested any.. I hope that makes sense.. If you still need a second opinion, I would suggest you to call the CIC customer support.. Good luck with your application.. I hope things will work out for you!

Kaladhar

P.S: Always follow CIC application guidelines to be on the safer side..

Folks, please enter your timeline in this link. This will help give a 1000 ft view with regards to recent timelines. I'm trying to get a picture of DM to PPR and IP to DMM for sept, Oct, Nov, Dec 2014 applicants. You need the link below to enter your updates in the spread sheet. Thanks

R1982 - if you enter the info you paste on the forum, this document will make calculations as per the number of days since AOR etc.

Just got IP today. On Thursdays I got additional document request on Schedule 4 and Schedule A. They said I had some gaps and needed new up to date. For My Schedule 4, they asked me to provide the amount since I left it blank. At the end of the mail I was told to Fax the new document and mail the original ASAP. I filled it on Thursday, faxed and posted same day. Today I got the IP. Looks like they are speeding things up

Hi All,

I am December 29 applicant. Got IP status today. I got medical request and RPRF request (auto mail) almost at the same time as everyone else.

Cheers

Email preferrable , just make sure to use one mode of sending your replies to avoid confusion and longer processing on your application. When Visa office requested the same to me before i replied via email and they acknowledge it by sending back email to me

thanks sophiathefirst for your quick response.

a other question, so they requested a specific time for my address history, and I look back my old form, at that time I was in my home country and I clearly put down my home address. even I send another copy, it would be the same address. I don't understand what other address I could replace cuz that's the turth.

Then you should put the same be cautious of your answers a small inaccuracies will put your application in jeopardy.. do not leave gaps even only few months..

Yep. BCPNP, sent files to CIO-Sydney. No idea whether it ever got transferred to Ottawa or just stayed in Sydney the whole time.

I'm also Visa Exempt so I guess now all I'm (hopefully) waiting for is a COPR in the mail!
