I posted this the other day about checking your RPRF payment. Might be worth looking into that if they're asking again but you say that you've paid it?

Hello Guys....

Dec 18 2014 applicant.....In Process....

Ecas showing this.....

We received your application for permanent residence on December 18, 2014.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May XXX, 2015.
We started processing your application on May XXX, 2015.
We sent you medical instructions on May XXX, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Medical results have been received.

I don't know meaning of this..."To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us." Which letter they are talking ???

I got RPRF reminder on July 23, which I already paind and confirmed with cic agent over phone that fee has been received by cic.

Please help to understand that line.....

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know, that I have been getting these SPAM calls from a number 1-613-944-4000, claiming to be from the CIC and asking to talk to me and stating that i have to updated my "Alien Identification Number" which i have no clue about !!. I asked for their details and they disconnected.

I googled and understand that these are scammers calling just to scare people and make them pay. There is mention of this in this forum as well.

They call on the landline number and not on mobile.

I called CIC and informed them and they are aware of such bogus calls. They sent me a confirmation e-mail stating i should report to the RCMP and the Anti -Fraud, which I will, and that it has nothing to do with my Application for Permanent Residence.

I was curious to know if anyone else is also receiving such calls ?

Please do not entertain any calls from the above number and do not reveal any personal information such bank or credit details.

Regards,

Rick

Hey,

Very good idea. I doesnt work for me but maybe is because they check the receipts after everything else is ok. It was similar text like the old email with reminder of all documents. This time it was only reminding about RPRF and passport. But RPRF was outlined in yellow. Anyway not worried about that so far..

I will probably send the receipt also with my schedule A, so they cant miss it :D

Thank you, Will keep checking that way.

Finally got my In process status .... I am Dec 15 applicant and the status change around midnight/1am (Alberta time). Because the last time I checked at 10/11pm, it wasnt updated yet.... weird update time :o :o

HI friends.... I have a small doubt regarding Singapore pcc....I applied for Singapore pcc 3 months back and I got it 1 month back and I submitted that pcc to cic when they sent the generic email to send pcc's along with RpRF FEE...now I got another correspondence mail from cic stating that Singapore pcc will be sent by Singapore police force directly to cic office... Does Singapore police force still sending the pcc to cic directly because I heard that they stopped sending pcc directly to pcc instead they are sending to person and asking them to sylubmit onbtheir own.could anyone please let me know whether anyone sent the Singapore pcc manually or are they sending to cic directly???

Hi everyone
I am Dec 2014 applicant. I got mail from cic to resubmit background declaration form for change of address from Nov 2014- present. So do I also send info regarding change of any jobs that had taken place after Dec 2014 or just send the info about change of addresses. I have changed job and not notified before. So should I notify it now or leave the job section same as before. Please guide.

Hi Paul. Its always advisable to be as transparent and honest as possible with CIC so you wont be in trouble.. That said, I would suggest you to include all the changes (including jobs, addresses, etc) in your new "Background Declaration' form. That way, you would be on the safe side. Good luck!
