That's strange. I am January 26th applicant and even I got IP. Call CIC.

I called CIC to confirm about my RPRF fees and also wanted to know why status is showing still Medical recived but she was rude and not ready to give any information ...she said processing time is 15 month so call after then....so pathatic :-\

Guys, everyone who's having their ECAS updated recently is finding that their IP date is around May. The new system seems to be that you go "in process" as soon as the medicals are received, however for a lot of people there have been no updates to ECAS. The 2015 applicants have had their ECAS kept more accurate, and are going "in process" almost immediately, but that doesn't mean they're overtaking us! 8)

So what does it mean?? In my opinion, I would say just about all of us here are already "in process" even though ECAS doesn't say so. When it does finally show up, it just means that someone has looked at your file again and realised it's out of date (and then fixed it). Whether this is a sign that the end is close, I'm not sure. I suspect we'll find that out soon when some of us start to go to the "DM" stage.

Love your positive nature bud. But I feel intimidated by these kind of ridiculous updates of CIC :(.

I hope what you are saying is true, but i dont think it is. Several November applicants were receiving IP status in the past weeks on ECAs and many of them around Nov 20th (My application received date) had also started receiving IP status, while during that same week, I received email from CIO Nova Scotia to acknowledge receipt of RPRF stating that my file is currently in the queue to be reviewed by the officer. This means that during that week, my file was still sitting and nobody had touched it while other November applicants (with status updates) were actually being looked at.

I still hope they started working on my file at the same time but I dont thinks thats the case. My friend submitted application on Nov 27th and received DM 2 days back. I think they have some set guidelines and they process the easiest cases first.

We dont receive response for RPRF. I am guessing this response was rare as most of the guys sent the receipt never received response but got updated in file.
You can call cic to get it confirmed. I did send receipt last monday and it got updated as per today's call with the cic agent. Nothing to worry.

Hi guys. I am Dec 8 applicant and I just received an email requesting Additional Documents such as.
From my partner (main applicant)
1. Schedule A
2. Proof of common-law relationship
3. Police Certificates from each country he resided for over 6 months PLUS police certificate from my country (we r both from different European countries) even tho he never stayed in my country for longer than 2-3 months...

And from me they only need updated Schedule A.

I have sent ALL documents proving we are common-law in our application so is it ok for me to send them again? I dont have any other/new documents to prove it since then. And also, they didnt ask me for any Police Certificates only him but the strange thing is why are they asking him for one from MY country?

Any opinions? If i can get ALL these documents it wll be in a 3-4 weeks and CIC gave me 60 days.

THANKS!!!

Hopefully the end will be soon in fact.

I need to get a new car, but as a non-resident I don't qualify for financing.

I need the car in one month, but probably am two months ago away from PR. Noooo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Might get a $500 car for a month and then trow it in the garbage while i get my pr.

Hi Michelle
Is this schedule A request also updated on your ECS status underneath the "medical received" line?

Well, it's Tuesday again which is apparently the day ECAS is updated. Everyone keep an eye on their status and let's hope our information is made up to date today!

No. It still shows Medical results have been received. Do you think it should update to either IP or Additional Docs Required?

Hi Michelle

I have no clue whether your status should be Update to "In process" or not. But one thing is pretty clear that they have opened your file, CIC needs these documents for further processing
