Dear All,

I just have a question. I am an inland PNP applicant. Do I need my passport when I go for medical?

I am living in Saskatoon, SK and I am currently in Canada. I have a valid work permit and valid Canadian driver's licence. However, I don't have my passport with myself at this point. I sent it to be renewed which will take couple weeks.

Doc received by CIC in Sydney: 19 Dec 2014
XEP email: 15 Apr 2015
EP/UCI email: 04 May 2015
MR: Waiting ... (hopefully in 2 or 3 days as I see the process)

Hi dgh1364, I am not 100% sure but you should call some of the panel physicians (the doctors that are approved by CIC to perform medicals for immigration) in your city and ask. You can find them here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

I am going for my medical in Vancouver later this week and the person I talked to at the clinic told me that I must bring my passport and current visa/work permit. I hope this helps.

I had, and I've picked Vienna : I think my MR won't be soon :'(

Bud, I had also sent my and my spouse's passports to the visa office for trv renewal. I had asked the clinic if they would accept a photocopy or any other means of ID. The clinic was nice enough to accept our passport copies. Call them and categorically let them know your situation. Some clinics accepts notarized copies but i dont think you would have gotten your photocopies notarized when you had your passport with you. Same as my case.

usually, yeah.. at least it did before.. your designated VO sends you MR.. I'm not sure for inland applicants, did CIO sent them MR or Ottawa. but the thing is, in Novemer they've changed IMM0008 form and there's no longer an optio to select VO.. we can see that people in this thread are receiving MRs from CIO.. I don't know what to think anymore... all of them are inland, I'm waiting to see will anyone outland prompt us about MR
