That's a good news indeed, thanks. My work permit is expiring in Apr. If this thing sorts out by Jan/Feb, I won't have to apply for BOWP. I am an inland applicant, Alberta nominated.

I have the same timeline . I hope we dont have to extend wp . We should get something in 15 months . Cuz processing time is 15 months .

I already submitted my application using my AINP nomination in Jan 2015, after medical exam and RPRF, nothing heard from them.
I ordered my GCMC notes by the end of August 2015, only criminality is in progress, eligibility is not started yet. since I am applying under
the engineering stream of the provincial nomination, however my current engineering job might only last until Feb 2016, which is two months later,
do you think it will be okay for me? At that time, if I change my job, I won't be engineer any more, do you think my eligibility will pass?
I heard people are saying that they usually process eligibitliy first before anything else. I am so worried, but there's nothing I can do for this going down economy.

I dont exactly know what their process is. Right now it is the same for me. My eligibility has not started either and criminality is in process. I received an email from CPC Vegreville again today that they have again refused my BOWP stating that my eligibility shall be "Met" AND sent to "Passed" and I should have received an "AOR. the document posted on their website states otherwise.
You have 2 years so you should be fine.

Now i need info as i got a bad luck, very bad luck indeed
my restoration has been refused, and the letter i received now states that I have leave canada immediately..
the reason is stupid: that i didnt submit my application within 90 days..though I have all the evidence which means i have submitted my application within 90 days period?
1- what should i do now? immediately means what? how many days can i stay in?
2- can i challenge it somehow that the reason they have written is wrong?
please let me know if anyone has any experience with friends and others

I still have a little less than 2 years on my work permit. I am not quite too rush on BOWP tho.
it is just that I applied under engineering stream for AINP, and got the nomination. But due to the down economy, I might not be able to keep my job in a few months as engineering related job.
so I am worried if I switch my job to other category, will they consider it not meet the eligibility then? thanks you for the reply.

Let's hope CIC concludes that you pass the eligibility step by Feb. If that happens, you are in very good shape and nothing to worry about.

I just spoke with a CIC agent regarding the decision on my appeal and he said that the document for Bridging does say that I must have an AOR but it does not mean that you would get approved. you would get approved if you are approved in principal on your PR application.

what does "you are approved in principal on your PR application." mean? did they ask you to do medical exam and pay RPRF yet?

Yes they did ask me to do medicals and pay RPRF. The issue with my file is that I mistakenly included my daughter in my application and they sent medical for my daughter as well. Now when the medical was not received for my daughter, the system marked it as incomplete and CIO Nova scotia told me that the file is waiting for review by an officer. My file has been sitting with them with no progress. Now They would not issue me a BOWP stating that you have to be "Approved in Principal". It does not say on their guideline for BOWP that You have to be approved in principal, but I guess they can do anything they want. The same officer reviewed my file. My friend with the same situation got his BOWP approved after 5 months, only difference was that he was CEC. The requirements on the website are the same but i guess he was marked as passed.

Looks like many (if not most) late Dec applicants are stuck at the same point. Its the same for me, eligibility, medical and criminality passed but security not started.

What does it say in location for you? Mine says PV2-JAN.

I searched online yesterday about this abbr, according to my understanding,
PV2 is some codes for provincial nominee category...

but I saw some people of Feb 2015 applicants, they said their gcms notes said other than security check, all those eligibity, criminality were checked by Oct. 22...
when I ordered mine on the end of august, eligibility was not started yet... I am a Jan applicant.

I ordered the GCMS notes on August 31st, and got the notes on Sept 28th, at that time, the last time they updated my eligibility check was in May and not started yet.
only criminality check was in progress. I ordered another one yesterday, hope to get it before Christmas, I don't know why that was not started, consider I have the
nomination letter and all the stuff.
