Hello my friend, are there any other stages between AOR and medical request? I remember someone said there is a stage called "file transfer"? What does that typically happen? Two or three weeks after AOR?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
After getting AOR,your file will be transferred to your local Visa office which is called AOR 2,normally it takes 20 - 30 days from your first AOR. Then, you will get your medical request from your local Visa office between 2 - 4 months.

The timeline sounds quite fast! From my impression we won't need to wait much longer after getting MR, right?

Hi im just wondering how did you get 3 diffent jobs in a small span of time

It was easy to get a job when I had an open work permit. and I was hired quickly.

Its better to stick to one employer until you get your PR

It is definitely better to be working for the same employer. but, I got fired. so, there is no choice. I have to find a new employer. I hope though, that CIC or MPNP would not find out I am unemployed currently.

Hello All,
I received AOR in March 2017. It's been 120+ and still waiting for MR. Here's my time line.

Stream: Saskatchewan PNP
Narionality/Applied from: Pakistani/ Applied from USA.
Nominated: Nov 2016
Application received by CIC: Jan 20, 2017
AOR Received: Mar 9, 2017
Background check started: Early June 2017
MR: Still waiting ....

Since I applied from USA, I might be considered an in-land application that is why they haven't transferred my file to any other visa office. It will be process at Ottawa VO.

Anyone here being in the same scenario as I am? How long will it take for us to get the MR?

Thank you,
Waji

Hi Waji,

I am so delighted to have finally found someone with my scenario. I am from India and applied to same category from USA (my present location) with file being processed inland. Look at my timeline is in approximation with yours. Does your status say in ecas for background check? I last heard from cic via generic reminder, but nothing since then.. waiting for MR as well. Stay in touch.

Same here bro. We both are in the same boat. Hope and pray that we get MR soon.
Ecas is still showing 'we have started your application on March 9, 2017'.
Gckey profile is showing the message that we have started the background check. I don't exactly know when they have started but this status got changed in the first week of June when I reported a glitch where my profile was showing that I got a MR request but neither did I get message in gc key nor got any email. I reported the technical issue so they responded that it was a system error and my gc key profile went to background check status. I have been waiting since then..

Hi Friends,

Hey there

I received my PNP approval in 3 days. Thank God. I applied my application to CIC on 27th April 2017 and still awaiting the AOR. I heard that it can be received with 3 months. And up to today (17th July 2017), it is still awaited.
