PNP PR add spouse during PR application

Hello guys,

I spent amost one year and a half for applying PR after I got PNP. After CIC required me to send them my passport, I added my common-law spouse in to the application for some reason. So my whole application was delayed.

My spouse submitted the documents on March, and got medical test on April.

Any one met the same situation? Please give me a general idea what should I do next, and how long usually the process take.

same situation here. Got my spouse's medical in August 2017. Now still waiting for the final approval. Rumor says it should be soon for me but who knows.

Hi All,

I need some urgent help in adding spouse to my exiting application. They asked me to submit below forms in WebForm but i don't see any space to attache them(it shows only 3.5MB max). Please help.

I got married a month ago and I notified CIC through Web Form that I want to add my spouse to the application. They replied that I have to send these documents to them.

Below is email content :

To do so, we invite you to send your add-on request through the IRCC webform available on our website. You can attach the following forms and documents in the field reserved to that effect:A new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) with supporting documents,

• (If applicable) A Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) form,
• (If applicable) An Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) form,
• (If applicable) A signed Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) form,
• A copy of the birth certificate, marriage certificate or proof of common-law relationship,
• A copy of the family member’s valid passport,
• Police certificates for all countries where the family member over the age of 18 has lived for more than 6 months since turning 18,
• A letter of explanation, and
• If applicable, the proof of payment.
