It could mean anything, either really just in an early stage or criminal&eligibility is in process or done but do not think security check is started.
However, if cic does not check criminal&eligibility before MR, then I might be just being ignored. and only scheduled for a MR in upcoming months.
so here comes my question:
Have anyone got Criminal & Eligibility processed before the Medical Request ??!!

Pretty sure they pass criminal and eligibility before MR...they start security when they issue MR.

The original message in the CIC email sent to me is :
The initial assessment of your application is currently in process. You can expect to be contacted if addition information is necessary.
