I have seen a couple of people in the forum that got temporary file number but their application returned because they missed a signature, so I don't think this number really means something ... In my opinion it is just better to sit patiently for the AOR.

Did they process it from starting agian

What happens if you get your application returned +6 months after applying? With an expired PNP certificate, etc.

You need to extend your PNP certification and resubmit application to IRCC after correction

My AR was sep 9 and still waiting AOR as well.
