Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
We have verified the information you provided and can confirm that we received your application on November 23, 2020. It will be processed according to the date it was received.
To find out how long it may take to process your application, please visit the processing times page.
If needed, more information is available for you regarding the processing times and updates in e-CAS in our Help Centre.
Due to COVID-19, IRCC is experiencing processing delays and we can't give accurate processing times for most types of applications. We're currently prioritizing applications from people who are exempt from travel restrictions.
We understand that this may be a difficult time for you and we are here to assist you by providing you with the information we have available at this time.
Based on when IRCC received your application in November your application is still less than 6 months. But AOR will definitely comeI just got this message:
Still no AOR after almost 6 months, so I sent a webform last week hoping to get a file number now that I have PCC, medical exams, etc
From various forums it is observed that most of Aug'20 applicants are getting AOR now, With current trends it seems that majority of applications submitted in Sep & Oct cases will get in another 30-60 days, few lucky ones can receive it earlier.

You receive a TEMP file it reflects that they have open the file but completeness is not validated. Once they check file and it is marked as complete AOR will be issued.Ok. Thanks ! My AR is 15 March ! So I guess i would not be able to get a temporary file number at this time.
