My progress bar still shows as well. Perhaps the email was just a heads up to douse any worries for when the progress bar eventually disappears.

At last they found that the progress bar is useless that it doesn't denote the current situation of the application.

Last week I had a call with the IRCC agent and understood that the security is not initiated yet. He was saying that there is every possibility that my security would have been cleared sometime back and the officer can hide this part from being visible to the agents. I could relate this to a series of updates back in Nov and Dec 2020 which I believe might be because of security being cleared. If at all the agent was true, a remeds or extension should be an indication that PPR is near.

Expecting the flood gates to open in the next 3 to 4 months time.

Today I got a ghost update .. I have sent my renewed pp copies few days back through web form .. could the ghost update be an indication that it has got updated in my application ?

Usually, you wont get any GU for sending updated docs. Was you security cleared earlier? Please try to call them and understand what was the GU about.
