Just wanted know whether u received an extension to your visa and medicals..
Stay safe...

My medicals weren't extended, they expire on February 18th 2021.
We are ready to go now so it shouldn't be a problem as long as they lift restrictions by then.

Heard that VFS in India is going to be opened next week with limited functionality.. hope it everyone gets PPR soon

Hopefully this time at least it opens and shower the much awaited golden emails to those eagerly waiting.

We just received our COPRs in the post. Yay! Seems like a lot of our time and stress has gone into getting these pieces of paper... But we got there in the end. Thanks to everyone for keeping me sane.

I think next steps are just to wait for restrictions to be lifted. Hopefully an announcement will come in the next week or so.

The Immigration Mandate letter is due to be released along with immigration targets. Also I don't think all of these PPRs would have been released if there wasn't a plan in process.

Received GCMS today, which was applied on the 22nd Sep.
Assessments:
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not started
Criminality: In progress
Info sharing : Complete

I could find that my Biometrics mentioned as poor quality, so I've booked an appointment in VFS next week.
Seems like everything else is okay.

Hi @sandymikl may I know if you have booked an appointment in VFS successfully? I mean without a request from IRCC for re-providing biometrics. I have the same problem and same status as yours as per my GCMS. thank you for your reply.

In the gcms note I could see
in note 1: ready to finalize and in *** officer's note
which mentions "poor quality of biometrics even after 3 tries due to skin condition."***

I have seen similar cases in other threads.

If you got married you have to add your wife. You don’t have option . You have to update your marital status to cic otherwise it will be problem for you.

Hi , I have shown my POF as fixed deposit and it is getting matured in two days . What should I do now? Do I have to put it in FD again and sent the certificate through web form ?

You should only need to show your proof of funds when you originally submit your documents and possibly when you land in Canada.
I don't think you need to send them more proof, as long as you can prove you still have the money if you are asked then this should be fine.

You can renew and keep track of your previous FD tenure (If you are getting a new FD certificate). Its not required to send them the updated FD until they ask for it.
