My quote gives the idea that it's either-or, I'm sorry about that. What I mean is, it could take something in between 6 months up to 2-3 years. No one can assure with certainty how long the process of an application will take. Someone that has applied on the same data as you might take 4 months and yours might take way longer, it's totally random.

All good. I'm an in-land application with no dependants, a blue-chip employer and have a passport from another developed country, so I'm curious the time they'll take with mine

Hi All,
I am waiting for PPR now. In the meantime I got married last month. But I’ve not informed CIC yet as I am waiting to get my marriage registered. I hope to get the marriage certificate by 1st week of May.

could someone please suggest me whether I should inform CIC immediately or wait till I get the certificate.

@legalfalcon pls on adr letter it was said that Your application will be assessed in 30 days and the final decision will be based on the evidence on file at that time. Does it mean I will get final decision by that time

It only means that the evidence you submitted will be reviewed within the next 30 days and the final decision will be based on the review and the evidence you submitted.

It does not say that you will get a final decision within 30 days. However, if all stages are passed and this is the only step pending, then you may receive a decision soon.

No one can predict when you will get a decision on your application.
