I'm not certain this is real news. I can't see any of these countries creating a bubble like this. :(

This is for those who want to fly from India. Of course, we need other countries concurrence from their government before this can be implied.

Guy, I applied for PEI PNP a year back but last week I got OINP NOI, will there be any problem with my OINP case? Just worried!

Fingers crossed, it would certainly help in my case.

You would just have to declare it when asked if you have applied to other provinces. I wouldn't have thought there would be any issues.

Should not be an issue. Don't forget to declare your PEI application as suggested by Wotsit while submitting your OINP application.

It seems they made a change to the travel restrictions today that people with CoPR after March 18 can travel to Canada if they're coming from the US but not anywhere else. Saw it on IRCC twitter page. It's weird since the US is the worst when it comes to Covid-19. Doesn't seem fair.

I believe that has been the case for a couple of weeks now. It doesn't make any sense to me either.
I don't see why you can't travel to Canada to settle... I'd be happy to quarantine for two weeks, it's not a high price to pay.
Hopefully they will change the rules in our favour soon.

Exactly! if they're changing this why doesn't it include all countries. My life has been literally on hold since I got ITA it's just not fair. We can quarantine i'm prepared to quarantine for as much as they want me to, we can do PCR tests before the flight or upon arrival there are plenty of ways they can keep it safe. I really hope they change it to include all countries.

I completely agree, we will just have to wait and hope.
I expect that there will be more changes to the restrictions in September after the summer holidays.

I just hit 100% in my EE account today, its a shame to think if it weren't for covid we could be there by now.

Yes, I believe they are waiting for this summer to end to avoid tourist rush and most probably by August end or September we might hear the good news we are eagerly waiting for.

I just noticed on immitracker that in the last couple of days someone in Egypt and another from Ireland have been given PPR.
Maybe they are exempt from travel restrictions, I don't know but hopefully it's a good sign.

Yes, slowly they are adding more countries to the exempted list. Hopefully, our wait not gets prolonged.

I had a second GU at night, the first one was back in March. Maybe they've finally started security checks or smth.
That's great I am just behind you AOR 13th of Feb and being processed at Sydney.
I have everything completed except security, I am thinking that these GUs that are coming through could be security completed or decision finalised.
