PNP or EE? Please help

Hi guys.

Need help regarding this case. Had applied for both AINP and EE as work permit was expiring in August. The nomination came just in time to apply for the work permit renewal.

Also, got an ITA in the last draw but with a glitch. Including spouse, points were around 472. ITA cut off was 469 and the email mentioned the points as 462 because it did not count spouse points. Sent a case inquiry but losing time as no response in sight yet.

Should accept the ITA a with the glitch or proceed with nomination?

Any kind of help will be appreciated.

Go with the nomination. I'm assuming when you say nomination has arrived that you're assured of the additional 600 points in EE profile. If that is the case, go ahead and accept the nomination, get those points added to your score and reject the ITA afterwards.

Erm nope. Nomination is from AINP So it has no effect on EE. How about applying for both simultaneously? That's an option? Also provincial processing times are 16months +

Wasn't clear in the original post still my bad.

You can have both applications running simultaneously and withdraw from one of those after being successful in the other.

1 more thing, dyu suggest accepting the ITA with the glitch or waiting to hear back from CIC about rectifying it? So the original documents can be sent for nomination and only pdf files to be uploaded for EE right?

If they've sent you the ITA, that is conclusive evidence of your eligibility for that draw. The letter could be iffy on the details but your ITA is for real. You've done your bit already by sending in that CSE. I'd recommend getting the application ready to roll by uploading all required documents and just holding back from paying the fees and final submission for maybe a week or so just in case they get back to you. Else proceed with payment and submission and, in your favor, you did qualify for the ITA and waited after sending in the CSE for a response before submission so that's fair overall.

Just do a quick fact check. Your spouse ECA gives you 10 points? Or is it the IELTS though that adds up to 20 points? Or is it Canadian work experience which adds 10 points? Recommend doing this to ensure that you didn't lose those 10 points because you accidentally overlooked something here. Just to be safe.

Confirm that the IELTS is still valid if that gave those points. Procure reference letters and supporting documentation if those are work experience points. Keep ECA report and degree certificates handy if those are Education points.

Ielts and ECA for a 4 year professional degree which actually add upto more than 10 points but the system is just giving 10 points at the moment for both.
