Hi guys,

I am currently on a one year visa in Toronto. I have just heard about the Ontario PNP so need to move fast.

The question I have is, when you receive your nomination acceptance, how easy is it to get your temporary work permit while waiting for your residency? I heard someone say that when you receive your nomination acceptance you get some sort of letter/certificate that tells you you can now apply for the TWP.

I need to know this before I commit to this is time is not on my side.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Thank you!!

I heard that you can apply for the work permit immediately after Employer Pre-screen approval. Nomination certificate is not needed. Is that true? Anyone knows about this?

no, you need a letter from the province. And this letter come with your nominee certificate.

I had sent a mail to the embassy regarding this and they replied me today that I can apply for the work permit with Employer Pre-screen approval.

Hello Ram,

Hoping you can help.

I have the Ontario PNP certificate + support letter. My PR is under process but I require a work permit and visa to stay valid till the PR comes in. I know I have to apply ro CPC, Alberta.

What I am looking for is which application to put in. Is is a new work permit or an extension of the old work permit. And what about the visa?

Any help will be highly appreciated. My e-mail id is rockon.eshaan@gmil.com.

Thanks and regards,
Jay
