Here there,
A friend of mine wants to apply for PR under International students category in PNP. Under that, if she has an offer letter from a qualified employer offering her a full time permanent job, she can apply for PR, even if she's in her last sem before graduation. It's a two way process, first employer has to apply for that position, if he can hire any foreign/internationals. After it gets approval, she would need to apply. The entire process would take around 18 months or so. She's planning on starting the process by first week of June, as she's in her last sem and graduating in Oct. She will have her post grad work permit by Nov -Dec and by this time her PR application would be half way there.
Does it mean that she has to start working for that employer (who is offering her a job offer for PR). This is my only concern, since she's in the country and she would be legally available to work, does it imply that she has to actually start working for that employer? for her application to look ligit
Any suggestions would be helpful!
