Great day!

As I browse different cases related to permanent residency and immigration issues in general,it gave me a sense of enligthenment due to important infos.

I would like to share my experience and I thank you in advance for the information you will soon post.

I applied for PNP a month ago with my wife-our child was born here in Canada so he is a citizen.

As the day passes by,she realized that Canada isn't for her and wishes to go to our home country(Tunisia) with our kid.She has a nice paying job there. We arrived at a decision that,I,would like to stay here and become permanent resident, and also agreed that she can have the kid in her custody as going back to Tunisia.

Hard as it seems,we will file for separation/divorce,as consensus.

My questions:

1.As I submitted my application,I am married by status, when is the best time to modify my application?(the application is at Provincial level at this time for processing)

2.What are the needed documents(consent on child custody, divorse papers...etc) when my own application will be submitted to federal?

3.Any advise you can give as to when is the best time to process the divorce papers?

We havent started the divorce papers yet, having scared that the PNP nomination will be affected and will take a long time to process

Hi
Once your marriage status is changed, then inform the certain provincial office immediately. Divorce paper is good since once you two are divorced, she will be excluded in your family member and does not need to do a medical exam and will not render your case.
