Question for everyone :

For BOWP (Bridging Open Work Permit), we know that we need
- Masters OPNP (if you are doing Masters Stream like me)
- AOR from PR Process (which takes about 3 months to get)
- Currently valid work permit

But my work visa expires in June.
and I still do not even have OPNP yet.

I know that OPNP office no longer issue the Supporting Letter for BOWP.

So I'm thinking if we can still file a BOWP application just with the MASTERS OPNP Certificate...
like at the Niagara falls border or something.

Does anyone have any idea,?

Same issue here

I received my acknowledgement email yesterday 5 months after I handed in my package, FYI.
I should get the nomination by July 1st.

Hey Luckychamp,

I appreciate the way you are helping other :) I was confused in something may be you can give me some advise... I am confused wether to apply for OINP- Master graduate (paper based) OR OINP - Human Capital priorities (Express Entry)... I am assuming that OINP- Master Graduate stream will be faster as in this case Federal just does the back ground check thing and your actual PR is made at provincial level only.... plz advise

Thanks bro.....well seriously don't know exactly the main diff in term of processing time.....However I have applied OINP - Master Graduate Stream.....and In my nomination it was clearly mentioned that I have to apply paper base application under the CIC expedite stream.....and see its been seven months I got my AOR from CIC in three months and then waiting for past almost four months for the next step which is MR.....but reading every where that people from June batch did not receive their MR request yet ...... I am pissed off as well that whats going on??

Well we also think that but the process is damn slow although province already put time on our applications then issued nominations but still CIC takes so long.......I would suggest you to ask the CIC agent and I am sure he/she will properly explain you the right path.

Thanks

Is there a thread for discussion on PR application to CIC, once provincial nomination is received?

Everything seems to be about express entry now, I am asking about inland paper based application, which is the next step for us.

Thanks.

Hi dude, no news yet man... One of my friends applied on Feb-9th, no news either :-( The most recent AOR case I heard (in OINP master stream) was that some one got AOR on Apr-11th who applied on Nov-06th...
