Hi everyone,

Here is my timeline for a better understanding.
AR December 14, 2020
AOR August 11, 2021

I recently got a great job offer that I would hate to say no to. I reached out to my representative about this - she said "We usually do not recommend anyone to change jobs in the middle of a PR process, especially when your PR is based on the fact that you have a job offer from an employer. However, since PR process has 2 parts, part 1 (OINP) and part 2 PR background check with IRCC. Since you are now a part two, the government is not concerned about your eligibility of your job offer. But instead they are processing a background check, meaning they are looking at your medical exam, police checks, etc. Based on our experience it is relatively safe for you to change your job if needed."

Has anyone have a similar experience with this?
Thank you in advance.
