hi everyone, We are applying for PR and applying for provincial nomination in Nova Scotia. We have our sister in the province as a permanent resident. What are the chances of our nomination. Please if anyone could let us know.

Not quite sure how having a sister in NS determines whether you will get selected. Your whole profile is what matters.

Having a sibling that's a permanent resident grants you 15 points in the express entry system, but it has nothing to do with provincial nomination.

Thank you for the responses. Yes, I know that I am an Information Technology specialist, and I was thinking about what are the chances that we get nominated if we have sibling already? Or does it still go through the process of draws as our CRS scores are low. As the cut off for express entry is nowhere near to our scores.

Sibling for NS PNP doesn’t give any points or is of any benefit to improve your profile. What NS PNP are you even eligible for without living and working in the province or having a job offer? Sibling gives you points for EE only.
