I reveived an email saying that ontario is interested for provincial interest letter.

shall I accept it?
Would I immediately get 600points?
If i want to withdraw can I withdraw if i get ita from EE?

Have you already applied for a PNP program from ONIP? or received an email saying they would like to extend an LOI?

if it is an LOI from ONIP, You will have to accept it and submit all the documents and if everything is in place then they will nominate you, which will give you 600 points

Thanks but can I later withdraw?

As the letter says that the province is showing interest and I am supposed to apply directly to OINP to get the nomination, if they find my profile suitable?
So there is a possibility that I wont get nominated?

1. You need to create OINP profile on OINP portal and submit your required documents with CAD 1500 points.
2. Once you submit your application, you have to wait for almost 60 days to get the nomination approval (600 points)
3. 600 points will be added to your EE profile and your score will be updated to 1071.
4. Proceed with PR application then.

I have a CRS score of 467 (Qualified under FSW) and I just got the Invitation from OINP. Created my EE profile on May 15th, 2020.

Can I proceed under OINP? My IETLS score is gonna expire in 3 weeks. I am an outbound candidate from the US, if I need to take one more shot on IELTS, I can't do that because all the centers are closed as of now. Any suggestion is helpful.

Given the current situation, a PNP slot would be safer than waiting for another FSW draw. It’s totally up to you to accept the invitation. I am a PR applicant with OINP nomination myself. Spending 1500 CAD and having an extra 600 points in a time that neither CRS might come down in a near future nor there would be a FSW draw soon, it’s not a bad deal at all.

Thank you for the response. At this moment i am gonna wait for 1 week/next draw and make a final decision. can we tell what is the possible chance of getting approval once I accept ONIP and submit the application. Curious for asking because 1500 CAD is a bit expensive and not sure if it gets refunded.
