Hello guys.

I graduated from a university in the USA with a bachelors and went back to my home country. I only have one year experience in a category B skilled work, single, aged between 25-29....Will taking an online post graduate certificate from a university in Canada boost my points and chances for being nominated by a province?

I realize that it is almost impossible to get an LMIA if you live outside Canada.

And another question, is it easy for a single person to obtain a PR based that we accumulate less points?

Finally Which provinces allow external (outside applicants) to apply for its PNPs?

Ontario does allow outside ppl.
You need to have 400+ crs for that.

Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI. - They all have different requirements though.

Single people do not accumulate less points. They are actually at a slight advantage because they can get maximum points without the help of a dependant.

I'd say you don't have to finish your PGD before you enter the pool. Many single people around your age range are securing PR to canada.

Take the IELTS test, get your ECA done, do a little more research on the provincial programs and you should be on your way.

Good luck!

You can still apply for EE and PR with your bachelors degree from US, but yes having a masters will boost your CRS Score further.

Thats quite right

That somewhat true as you accumulate less points if apply with spouse/common-law partner rather than without.

ON, provided you are Bachelors and CRS score >=400
