My update on 22Dec2018 my background check has been started.

It’s about the statutory question because I have tourist visa refusal from US and residence visa refusal from Singapore. So they must be checking that.
So far still no updates online.

I don't think that would effect to your PR application, even I have a US visa refusal.

Congrats! That’s fast! Your app must have been with CIO all along. Ours is with Manila and i’ve been reading it is kinda slow.

Good day to everyone,

Just want to share my case here on the page here for PNP or Express entry program
I am scoring 68/100 points from PNP calculator and 405 points from the CRS calculator.
I am working in India and will be completing 4 yrs of Indian work ex in Technical Sales field in May'19.
Qualification - Bachelors in Mechanical Eng. (4 yr course from India) & Post Grad Diploma in Marketing (1 yr course from Toronto)

Just want to know what are my options now...
