Friends, I have been working as an Accounting Analyst for more than 6 months now in Regina, I recently received my PNP Nomination and I am planning to apply for CEC Class based on 1 year revised criteria but the problem is that in my PNP nomination letter, it has been mentioned that I fall under NOC 1431 for Accounting general clerk which covers basically payables and receivables kind of positions and falls under NOC C, My work profile is basically related to Reconciliations, General ledger maintenance and working on Financial statements, which are duties of Accountants under NOC A with code 1111 as per my believe. My employer has mentioned that Accounting Analyst position is moderate level (mid level position) in my employment letter.

I am in big trouble as I dont know whom to approach in order to correct my NOC code whether my PNP officer or CIC ? Is there anyway my NOC can be updated or corrected in CIC ?
But now my Nmiantion/PNP information letter has been sent to CIC which showing up NOC as 1431. I dont know how to clear or rectify this issue ?

I worked as a Bookkeeper for 8 months in Ontario, but that is fine as its been covered under NOC B but I still need 4-5 months of experience and my current NOC as per mentioned in PNP Letter would not qualify me for CEC as it under NOC C.

Your suggestions and advises will be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi,

getting PR thought PNP is easier and quick , better to wait untill your medical comes.

I was waiting for CEC work experience requirement to be reduced from last 3 months. I am planning to get married in this February 2013 and CEC and would like to include my fiance in my CEC application from begining rather than already started PNP application. Secondly, my current employment is term job and will most likely end in about next 7-8 months, it could become permanent but not guaranteed. By CEC, I would not required to be dependent on my employer. I have worked 8 months as a Bookkeeper in Ontario under NOC B and currently working in much senior level profile than the Bookkeeper for last 7 months (Accounting Analyst) with much better pay and benefits but only becuase of PNP officer did not find my NOC Code and/or may be due to any reason, I couldn't convience PNP to change my NOC code and on the top of that they mentioned another code which comes under NOC C to my nomination letter.

Is there anyway I can get out of this NOC issue and apply for CEC. I might would like to continue with both PNP and CEC together but I am very eager to apply for immigration through CEC for sure.
