To those still waiting like me, from August 2017, which province did you receive your nomination? I'm from Alberta.

Still waiting..

And waiting...

Eternal wait....

Thanks for the help
By the open work you mean PGWP?

Yes,
Thats an open work permit
Then you'll have to apply for a bridging open work pemit if you nomination is not sponsored or tied with an employer

Hello Guys,

I opened a ticket by web form 2 weeks ago informing that my medical exam is expired since NOV/18 and after one week, they requested a new medical exam where I already did and it was sent by the panel physician.

Now just keep the fingers crossed and waiting for news soon.

Have you linked your application to your GCKey? If not, you can check the status here https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do

You often receive medical request after 5-6 months, this timeline varies depends on each application

yes but nothing, the first two weeks i could check and it was on process but after that nothing even GCkey !!!

Any new PRs here from 2017 applications?

Guys, I see a lot of people mentioning that background check is probably the biggest contributor to delayed processing. Is that generally the case?
If that is the case, does having lived in US or New Delhi, India speed up police verification, for someone who is inland applicant?

Thanks
