I would be blind sided and feel alone if I have not read this thread. Thank you.
My PR was approved yesterday and I now got my permanent SIN.

Here is my timeline

We received your application for permanent residence on August 22, 2017.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 29, 2017.
We started processing your application on September 29, 2017.
We sent you correspondence on March 27, 2018.
We sent you medical instructions on June 27, 2018.
Medical results have been received.
Requested new Schedule A and Travel history - July 9, 2019
Uploaded Schedule A and Travel history - July 12, 2019
Received call from CIC Officer asking for my Police Clearance - July 16, 2019
Sent my Police Clearance to CIC via email - July 16, 2019
Interview request received - July 17, 2019
Interview and PR approval - August 6, 2019

IDK either, I had the same case when my passport that I submitted during my application expired right in the middle of processing, then they asked for a copy of the new passport and my updated travel history. It was fast processing after that.

Thanks. But still I m in tention because they did not send me passport request and my work permit is going to expire on 28 August. I don't know what I have to do.

From my experience, when my spouse visit permit was about to expire, I applied for a visitor visa extension 2 days before the permit expired. When we got the PR approval, we sent an inquiry to have it cancelled and refunded. It takes 4 months for them to approve a WP, you should have some progress within those months and enough time for you to cancel it when you get PR. I also extended my WP last December, 1 day before it expired, I got my WP on April.

You can call them and ask that you have a new passport, and where you can send it. When a CIC office asked for my Police Certificate from the Middle east, she asked me to send it as an email attachment reply to their email and I did not upload it on the CIC website.

AOr_1sep2017.medical last year July 3 pass. This July 26 medical extend. 7 Aug dm or ppr.

Yesterday I called them and they said your file has been approved but today got nothing. It's over 24 months

I would say , you need to wait a bit, every summer they are short of staff, i know its paining but that is the truth.

Hello guys, I have a bad news. I got gcms note today, I saw eligibility - failed, others not started. Application status : open. gckey - submitted & ecas : in progress
This means they will refuse us?
In gcms note, I did not see Vo comments about refusal . I mean not mention any where, refused; so in this situation, what I will do now ?​

I submitted additional document about my Job misrepresentation, but they did not come to my company, or did not go other company where I worked before, than how they said I made misrepresentation? what they got from those company, I did not know. So without visiting all companies, how they proof that I give inconsistent information ??

Kindly help me & let me know what your friend do with cic as he is in same situation. it may help me lot

I hope you sort this out brother,
Its easy to have misrepresentation.
Did you consult this with an immigration lawyer?
My lawyer always tells me that if ever I'll submit an application form, I should include a letter of explanation specially if there is chance that the IO will get confused of the documents or information provided.

I think the best thing to do is to gather all your documents as proof, consult with an immigration lawyer, draft your explanation and provide all necessary explanation. Sometimes, when they receive a well written letter of explanation, their decision may change.

Another piece of advice, after you write your letter of explanation let other people you trust proof read it (at least 2 other persons). 3 persons proof reading your letter is way better than you alone. Check the spelling, grammar, composition - this is to make sure that your intended message comes across.
