Hello everyone.
Finally I got the PPR and DM today morning at the same time. Thanks to god.
Aug 8 2017 applicant.
Medical was passed on 2018 April and it was extended on 18th of February 2019.
Thank you everyone here for the support throughout the process. I wish you all good luck with the process and I hope you guys get what you have been waiting for.

Wow thats a long time
I wonder why?!
Mine is 1oth month now, my lawyer said its because of security clearance since I lived in the middle east for 5 years.

Could be because of that, but its just too long. Sigh.
Anyways, I'll just keep waiting.

I submitted mine August 22, 2017
Still no update, but my lawyer said the immigration said that its pending the completion of security checks. Possibly because my spouse and I lived and worked in the middle east for 5 years.

It's just too much work for me. My WP extension is pending approval, then my TRV is already expired so I need to apply for a new one once I get my WP. Then if this PR is not approved by May, then possible another medical! Gees.

So yes, I'm also waiting like you.

Everytime I call CIC, "wait for 19 months. Wait for 19 months."
When I reach 19 months and contact CIC, will they talk to officer that reached 19 months so that speed up the application?
I am reaching 19 months in 5 days...

Yes they will add a note to your application that you exceeded 19 months. After that officer will focus on your application, however it still will take probably about 2 or 3 weeks before you will hear anything. It happened with me.

I already sent CIC an email via web form that let them know I am almost approaching 19 months so please send officer a note, but they keep talking same thing without answering my question. Copy and paste only. "Your application is good right now." Etc.

Oh, you definitely need to call. From my experience, web forms didn't give me any real progress, even with updating my applications.
