Hi all, I am a September 17, 2017 applicant and just got GCMS notes stating the following:
- Eligibility: Passed
- Security: Not started
- Criminality: Passed
- Medical: Passed (since April 19, 2017)
- Info Sharing: complete

Not sure why security hasn't even started yet..

We have almost similar timeline.
I'm Sep 13, 2017 applicant and i passed my medical on April 6,2018.
Same for me Security has not started yet.

No, I haven’t notice any change on my online status, I just got the GSCM notes yesterday

Do they don't update about security on GCMS notes or is it in real that they have not started our security yet ?

I’m not sure, I’m just one month from the 19 months mark, I want to believe they only uptake security check when passed. But no idea how it works

They won't disclose that you r done with your security.
One of my friend called in CIC and the Agent said to him that we haven't started your security and after that call within a week he got ppr.
He was Feb or March 2017 applicant

Agents won't disclose but GCMS notes would, right?

I think that's not always the case, in my case, when I recently got a ghost update I called CIC for other matter, and got a chance to ask about my ghost update as well, and they said that, this update shows that your security is passed.

i called cic today and got same answer today as well. called 3 weeks ago as well. everything passed but officer still need to make the decision on file.

I think that's not always the case, in my case, when I recently got a ghost update I called CIC for other matter, and got a chance to ask about my ghost update as well, and they said that, this update shows that your security is passed.

I called them after the ghost update she said security is done.
Maybe it vary from person to person, some people they share when we call & others don't.
