It's been 8 months since i have completed my Medical.
No update after that. it's F** crazy.

I just ordered twice
The one was july 5 and second was sept 5.
Still location: ready for PS

same here. received my last set of notes on Oct 24, still ready for PS.

I ordered new set of notes on NOV 16.
Hopefully will receive notes in Mid- Dec.

and when i last time called them like couple of months ago.
They said processing time is 19 months , but when i applied processing time was 16 months.
are they counting us in 19 months processing time seriously.

Princess, probably you are the only one. Many people before me, have suggested you to call CIC and check with them. Or you may order GCMS notes, but you should do something, don't keep waiting. Most July applicants who applied before July 24th already got passport requests.

Still my application is in normal processing time means im in 17 month. I read cic will not reply in web form if application is still in notmal processing time

but still you should call them

Finally got Ghost Update today!

Application Received - Sep 01,2017
Aor - Oct 06, 2018
Pre Arrival Services( Eligibility) - March 30, 2018
Medical Request - July 03, 2018
Medical Passed - July 27, 2018
Background Check - I think from day 1
Ghost update - Nov 29, 2018

Dont worry guys everyone will get ppr no one is going to leave Canada!

Then I checked ECAS and they’ve an additional item reading as below:

‘We sent you medical instructions on March 22, 2018. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us’

Do I need to do anything about it given I’ve already passed medical?

I don't think so you have to worry , extra line added seems like ghost update to me, but you call cic to clear your doubt.
It seems like a positive sign , at least someone is working on your application..

Extra line means two things first if u were asked to submit some kind of document and its been cleared. Second your background chk or security has been passed......the only thing remains after this is final review....which only depends on the officer nothing else....He or she has to approve the final outcome.....so ghost update is always a good sign. It can take 2 days, weeks or couple of months....congrats and stay positive.

Thanks a lot. Sure, I hope the officer in charge will finish the final review soon. I want this long process to come to an end soon. It will be the best Christmas gift ever from CIC. All the best guys.

Yes...I am just talking about those who got extra line...otherwise we have seen a lot of cases where you dont even have dm in ur ecas but still get ppr....
