Hey guys, I do not have any updates (July 26 applicants) but I just want to thank all of you for sharing your updates and make our journey less stressful and make us feel that we are not alone while waiting for the black box called CIC to get out application processed. Do not tell me that men!! I was hoping that in a couple of weeks I will have COPR!! with a little bit of luck, we will make it soon,fingers cross.

Previously CIC used to issue PPRs almost every week- mostly Tuesday, Thursday/Friday. Hopefully we should hear something soon. Be positive and just hang in there for a little bit more

After that no updates & finally got ghost update
Ghost Update : 28 Nov, 18
Waiting for ppr..

Actually I have no idea if mine is a ghost update. I went into the online tool, which is ECAS, and found an extra line in my timeline, saying "We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your applicationXXXXXX". I think this is the ghost update, right?

Check your GCKey. If the status states "Profile Updated", then it is ghost update.
My answer is not 100% sure, but my guessing of ghost update is finished the Security check and ready for final review in Ottawa if you are within Canada.

I have no access to my GCKey since my application is under my consultant's account. But thank you anyway
