hey guys is it a good idea to apply through the canadian experience class now as i have been eligible for a year now to apply but was told PNP was faster (apparently not). What do you guys think?? or just wait as i am "almost close"

Eligibility passed, medical passed, security not started, criminality in progress, however in the notes somewhere it says RCMP cleared.
due date was august 28,2013, medical extended for another year, officer assigned. but seems like officer is just a piece of another lazy *censored word*.

Okay. Don't be alarmed by what you see on the GCMS notes. Can you please check the last 5 pages of your GCMS notes...Look under the section 'NOTES' and also check 'PAPER HISTORY'. These will give proper info about your application. The location of your file will be shown by 'PAPER HISTORY'. Any reviews/decisions made by any officer will be under 'NOTES'.

When was the note made? And in the same note, does it say eligibility pass, RCMP screening - NRT, RPRF received, etc. ?

The note was made on july 25,2013 and yes it does says,
Eligibility-passed
RCMP-NRT
RPRF-Received

now i dont know when the hell that officer is gonna say o.k send me the passport.

its in process since the same day, when the note was made. also ecas says the same date.

but they slept on my file from july 2012- june 2013

Same with me. It was eating dust for a year before they put in process. Now how long is a big question. I heard from some other threads that most files are sitting for final review and in queue to be reviewed. With such we have no idea when this finally happen. Many says now its any moment.

Now looking at how Jan-Feb 2013 people are getting their PPR, I don't think we can guess how they process the files. and i don't think anybody can guess when they are gonna send PPR for us. All I can say is they have done everything possible to piss us off (jan-may 2012 applicants). the worst part is, we can even go and yell at them, if possible i would be the first to do that

So, per your information, in my opinion, your file was ready for initial review on July 25, 2013. By initial review, I mean an IO will check for complete file with notes made and assess your file for any outstanding information/documentation. Your criminality should be in progress now. I think (not sure though) they will initiate your security check once your criminality is cleared. If everything is alright, your file should be checked for initial assessment. Then your file will be placed in queue for final review by an IO, upon which you should get a decision.

I think by now your file should have completed the initial review.

These GCMS are also useless, they do not tell you anything about security. Just they add some pain of figuring out what is going on. Nobody knows what CIC is doing and nobody can predict anything ...
