@ Holygun, @ Pari, @ Edmontonbound,

I have recieved the GCMS notes I applied for after becoming PR. It is now 65 pages long. So many things to read.

My preliminary findings:

(1). I think Ottawa started Criminality & Security checks for all Jan - June 2012 applicants (my thoughts though).
(2). My Criminality was passed on the day I got PPR, my wife's criminality was passed on the day our Visas were printed (very strange).
(3). Nothing was written about security. Only Criminality passed, Eligibility passed and Medical passed. New Value under security is 'blank' (strange as well).
(4). My officer did not issue me PPR. Another officer requested I be issued PPR. He said "Paper file reviewed in its entirety and complete name search conducted. Final file review: all assessments passed. cost recovery and RPRF paid and entered. Case RFV (2) Note: ppt expires xx Jan 20YY".
(5). Review of file shows no evident concerns per 35/37. (What is 35/37? I don't know).
(6). No reportable trace per RCMP index checks. All required PCS on file. No A36 concerns. Passed criminality. (A36 is admissibility criteria).
(7). Secondary Visa Office = Central Intake Office
(8.). New File Location: Registry - Archived & Retired.
(9). RCMP Screening: No crim rec after Fingerprints. (This really underscores the need to always submit finger prints when submitting application. It makes the work easier).

These and many more. I'm tired of reading the entire 65 pages.

Hope this helps!

Wow! No wonder it takes months and months to finalize an application. This was very helpful for future reference.

Thanks coshx!

Anyone from May 2012? Any correspondence from CIC yet?

Cheers
