Did any of you guys apply for a Bridging work peermit?If yes, could you apply a bit sooner for it than 4 month before the expiration?Lets say my closed work permit is expiring summer next year.CIC says withing 4 months of expiration.I thought maybe there is a way around it?

I asked them similar question and the answer was no...

I got a reply for them that files until 31 may , 2012 will be reviewed on or before 31 August, 2013.......my due date is August 19, 2013...lets see

I had paid it at the beginning; I got asked for an update in end of April and then they asked for CV from my spouse a month ago. my application went into process in Sep 2012!!!!!but no PPR, no replies to emails!!!

Do you have a guess why they are not answering? previously they were fast in responding...

When they ask for your spouses document there should be a deadline for submission of requested document. this acts as your due date. around this date you should be expecting something.

Mine is August 16, 2013. I have no idea if this date is realistic or not but they were following the dates on mine file at least.

Let's sum it up! So we have half the march applicants waiting as well as April and may. With their current speed they should have cleared the backlog by the end of the year. As painful as it is that is the truth
