Hi Iggy,

Heartiest Congratulations. It's good to know that things are moving.

Could you please tell me where did they ask you to submit your passport? I hope LA. I am also a PNP candidate from California with time line very similar to yours. Good luck with the stamping and LA returns the passport within 2 to 4 weeks.

Thanks,
Gurjaspal

Hi Gurjaspal,
Thank you, I believe you will hear the good news soon, you are in the same track with me :)

They asked me to send all passports to CPP Ottawa,365 Laurier Avenue West within 60 days (it's not to LA)

I'm happy but worry at the same time
My wife and daughter is on vacation, and will return to LA in 50 days,
very short time to send the passport before the due date,

any thoughts?

Email them a letter that you have a new born so that they can send a new IME for your baby.
This will delay your processing if you don't let them know that you have a newborn. Baby should
need a medical too but no blood extraction and x-ray. Don't worry medical now is electronically submitted to Ottawa.

Thanks Chanselay,

I will do it right away.

Cheers,

Arise

Well thats not very good that we have to send our passports to CPP-O as that would take longer then if LA just stamp em. But something is still better than nothing.

Given your situation you have two options:

1) If you need to move to Canada at the soonest possible, then you will have to cut short your family's vacation and call them back to send the passports.

2) If you are not in much rush, then you can email CPP-Ottawa that your wife and kid are on vacation and they would give you an extension on the time you need to send your passports. They agree to that request in almost 100% cases.

Hope it helps.

@ Gurjaspal

Thank you for the suggestion, I will send them the email asking for extension, I believe they agree with a reasonable condition.

@ Holygun

Could you please update mine on spreadsheet?
PP request: 28-June-2013
E-CAS (decision made): 1-July-2013

Thanks a lot Holygun

Congrats..

Samlogani this answers your questions...

"I am a February applicant. I got an email from CIC for requesting RPRF, personal history, and RCMP fingerprints on March 19th.
I sent RCMP fingerprints electronically on March 20th, and sent the rest of documents on March 22rd.
I got an email from CIC to confirm that they received my documents on April 4th.
Ecase changed my status to In Process - We started processing your application on April 11, 2013."
