I have been following this thread for quite some time. I finally got my PPR yesterday after 1.5 years!!! This was quite some wait!

Here is my time line

Category........: AINP
Visa Office......: Buffalo
App. Filed to CIC .......: January 2012
AOR Received.: February, 2012 (Ott Pilot)
Medical request.: February 2012 (Ott Pilot)
Second Police clearance request..: Jan 2013
PPR: June 2013

Our cases are approximately similar.
I have been requested to pay RPRF 4 days ago ::) . Would you please let me know when did you pay RPRF?
 
I have compiled the petition for the Buffalo Forgotten Applicants.Now all we need to do is to collect as many signatures as possible and spread the word.You dont need to write your actual name or email if you are afraid in some way,JUST SIGN IT.Send this link to every person who might sign it,media outlets, immigration anywhere you can think of.i cant cover everything,so use your email and support the cause.The only way to do this is by doing it together.If you are sick and tired of waiting than help yourself.we all have to pitch in.

Great. I hope you get your PPR soon. I did not pay RPRF yet. PPR request came with RPRF request. They asked me to pay it online and email them the receipt. Hope this helps.

Alert – Strike Action
The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. PAFSO union members responsible for processing visa applications have been walking out of offices in Canada and overseas.

Posted processing times for both temporary and permanent resident visa applications do not take into account work stoppages.

Anyone applying for a visa should anticipate delays and submit their application as far in advance as possible.

Contingency plans are already in place to ensure all offices remain open and are providing at least a minimum level of service. Priority will be placed on urgent humanitarian applications.

CIC continues to closely monitor the situation.

I honestly feel this pointless and unnecessary. The government of Canada can do whatever they want. They cancelled over 300,000 backlog FSW applications that were sent before 2008.
I feel everyone's pain. Be patient.
 
If quebeqers hadnt gone with the protest last winter they would still be waiting for their PR. But as you can see there practically none of them here. They are enjoying being a pr
