Any applicant or any family member who is outside of Canada, has to re-do his/her medical when it expires. If you are an in-land applicant, and remaining in Canada they forward your medical extention to health branch in your province.

The doctors have 10 working days to make a decision, if you need to re-do your medical or not. If doctor sees a health problem or if you have gone a country which may cause a health issue then they ask for re-do.

That's the new rule released on (about) March 13, 2013...

yes..they asked me to update my personal history and RCPMP fingerprints 1.5 month ago...

By the way today in morning around 10:00 AM, I got reply from officer today on my email query that i sent wek ago that

Dear sir,We will be sending u n email next week regarding submission of Passports...but in the evening I got this magic email!!

Congratulations. This is wonderful news. Could you please tell us, what email did you write to that replied with the proposed timing for Passport Request?

@ Samlogani.... The number you listed here for the ever elusive CPP-O is apparently not correct. Can you please give us the number here again. A friend of mine got an email to re-do medical tests for his wife and kid. Their medical tests are not even one year old. He emailed CPP-O twice to confirm the same. As expected, he didn't get any reply. So, he is trying to call them. He's in Canada.

Sir, the number is correct, an asian accent guy answer the phone and always say hello, he always deny that its CPP-O, just tell him call center gave you the number as its a very specific case, and application processed at CPP_O is treated as apps outside Canada I got this number in the email for medical request I received from CPP-O.

If you cant convince him than its just bad luck buddy

Thanks Gurjaspal,Rony ,Pary,Arale and evryone whom i have missed ...@Gurjaspal :It was pretty simple email i wrote...I just mentioned that I wd like to know status of my file as its more than 14 months since i have applied...another reason to ask u that I want to verify that whether my requested documents are recieved by you guys.
