For CIC, I guess immediately means now! Don't delay send the docs today if possible.

Hi Shady,

I spoke to someone at CIC and they indicated that your file is queued for review in the middle of May. Hopefully you will hear from someone or receive documents in the mail soon after that.

In the same case as well...Feb 8 applicant. Meds expired but will hopefully be extended. Based on what's been going on I know I'm going to be asked for an updated PCC and personal history. Hope that email comes soon so this can be finalized...would like to get on with my life. Hang in there y'all.

I paid my RPRF on 6 march, didnt hear a nything after that.

I emailed Minister Kenny, this is the reply I got from the office;

Dear XXX,
I appreciate your wish to become a permanent resident of Canada as soon as possible. Probably no other immigration issue causes more dismay or gives greater concern than processing delays. We understand that as processing times lengthen anxiety levels increase.

As you are aware, all applicants for permanent residence are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks (criminality and security). These requirements must be satisfied before a permanent resident visa can be issued. These checks are conducted for Citizenship and Immigration Canada by outside agencies and any delays that they may incur in providing input to the Department is something over which we have no control.

Our records indicate that the processing of your application is pending the results of___________________, I assure you that CIC officers will notify you as soon as the results are received.

A good response I guess but I am still waiting for PPR

What is the result that they are waiting for?
