True and Under what province you apply matters too. So ones who applied under Ontario PNP will take from 8 months to 12 months.
Yes it depends on Province and individual case too.

something isn't right. So, they encashed your money order sometime in May. And, they returned the same in November. Is that correct? What is your ecas status now? Also, when you said NEW PCC, that means you have submitted one with your application. Is that correct? In any case, you should email Ottawa and inquire with out further delay. These days they are replying in a day or two. Keep us posted. Good luck.
By the way when did you send your application?

My ecas status is inprocess. and I have submitted PCC from USA with application and they asked for PCC from India. I have send my application in January 2012.

This is what I used to appy for GCMS notes. My brother who is a sponserer applied for me. costs only about $5. Sending email eqnuiries will get attached as a status request to the profile. I saw that in my GCMS notes.

a) If you have a relative / friend in Canada

As you have a relative / friend there it would cost you just $5. Its very easy. Your relative / friend will order this on your behalf and he will be the requester. It can be done by email and your relative / requester can send scan copies of everything. Your relative / friend will receive CAIPS / GCMS notes in his email.

First fill the following form but your relative / friend will sign it as he is the requester.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf

Then you will have to fill this consent form and sign yourself

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5475E.pdf

Now according to latest IMM5563E form you can even pay fees online if you are not living in Canada and there is no need to fill any credit card form. Pay fees online, get receipt, fill it and then scan and attach with application. Its very easy. Go to section C of the following form then follow other links given below.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf (See section C)

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

https://eservicesak.cic.gc.ca/epay/lineofbusiness.do

After payment take 2 copies of print out of receipt. Keep one copy for yourself and attach other with application.

Ask your relative to provide copy of his Canadian passport or PR card and copy of his recent bill or bank statement as a proof that he is currently living in Canada

Ask him to scan everything and send everything by email to

atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca

I don't live in Canada so should I pick Privacy Act or Access to Info Act. What is the difference between these two?
Thanks.

Since I applied under ontario PNP program early this year I wanted to know if there is anyone who applied under Ontario PNP program and has got the PPR.

I just received my GCMS notes and it appears that everything is still the same, except that a new activity was added, and that my file was updated on September 25. It says something like secondary VO added - Detroit. It still says

Eligibility: not started
Security: not started
Criminality: in progress
Medicals: passed

Thanks.

If you have a relative or a friend in Canada you can do that and he will select Privacy Act.

Otherwise if you don't have anyone in Canada , you need apply online.

b) If you don't have a relative / friend in Canada

try these websites. You will get in around 6-8 weeks.

a) http://www.caips.ca/
b) http://caipsnotes.com/index.shtml
c) http://www.caipsretriever.com/2006/03/immigrants-life-in-toronto-canada-ii.html
d) www.lawpoint.ca ($25 only)

I'm pretty sure they've already started working on some Feb applicants - bkd1969 is one of them!
Does your GCMS notes also say that your secondary VO is Detroit? When was it last updated?
Best of luck to us :)

If you look at the end, there is a heading called APPLICATION. For me, underneath it states:

APPLICATION: 1
Field name: Secondary Office
Action: Added
Old Value:
New Value: Detroit
Updated Date: 25/09/2012
Updated By: (visa officer's code)
Office: CPP Ottawa

does it say the same for you?
