you have to go through VFS(3rd party) for applying to CIC. this is the link you can find the city and submit accordingly... they charge a nominal fee of 600rs for a application i guess...

http://www.vfs-canada.co.in/visaapplication.html

see the worker section of the application you might be able to get the checklist..also regarding medicals its purely depends on the CIC...sometimes they dont ask you to redo medicals...but sometimes they will ask...since you have done immigrations medicals for PR(if its valid that is not more than one year) they tend to be ok with that medicals... if they still need you to redo medicals they will send you the forms once you apply...

Step1: follow the checklist and fill the application form, with photos, copy of work permit also possible attach the receipt of your earlier immigration(PR) medical test receipt along with your passport..
Step2: they might issue the new Visa or if they think you need a medical test they will send you forms and you go to a DMP near your city and they will send the passport with VISA

without medicals processing time would be less than a week... with medicals it will be 1-2 weeks..

also you are saying you will be staying for 45days...my advice is get yourself submit the application as you land get your VISA stamped at the earliest...so they might not ask you for redoing medcials...
the main reason for asking you to do medicals if its more than 30days is to make sure you dont get anything from india and travel to canada :)

your timeline is pretty good man...why you seem disappointed...you know people are waiting from 2011 and even 2010 so i think you are pretty much ahead of curve already....

I know that so many people is waiting, but our process was very fast and smooth until Buffalo get closed...
Now, Nobody knows... :( Some people talk about 15 months processing time, when in the beginning was 10 months (I am in my 10 months)... So let keep praying and hoping for the best

Sincerely
Y_R

Thats the only thing we can do.
Man, I see about 10 people in this forum that have medicals done in March / April that are waiting for PPRs.

Hello everyone,

I have question regarding PCC (Police Clearance). I had submitted my Application on 5 May, 2012 without PCC. I want to know how long PCC are Valid for? I have PCC dated 15 May, 2012.

Let me repeat all of us have already known: keep the faith.

With every single day passed, we are one day closer to the destiny. I look back what happened to me in this process. I never imagine Sept 13 2012 is the day I received PPR. But when time is up, it did happen. I have no answer why it happened to me that day, not to my fellow Hollygun, superhero, and other folks withe the same timeline as mine. But I do know, GOD has its plan, and EACH OF US will arrive in the destiny as planed by GOD. It is not superstitious as Chinese was not educated that way, but, it is TRUE. You have to do your part, i.e., wait for the call from the Mighty GOD. IF you do not understand or disagree with me today for what I said, that is ok. But pls look back in one, or two, or three, or even six months later to see what happened to your PPR application. At that time, you will agree with me for what I said today.

Hollygun, what you need now is not CEC. you need patient. You are on the right track and You will get your PPR anytime soon. CEC will not make any difference.

Folks, it is hard time now. But CIC is still working. I recommend everyone here checking this thread only 2 weeks a time, checking your ECAS only 2 weeks a time, keep distance from PPR, do what you should do now. and you will get PPR AS PLANED BY GOD.

Nicely said bkd :)
