As usual

The Canadian said:Really? Canada is boring? Why did you apply for PR in the first place? Is it better in India than in Canada?
jonmonc said:Hi All,
I applied for the GCMS notes today (my first). Its been three months since my status changed to 'in process'. I hope I get some information on how long this might take from the GCMS notes (but will have to wait for a month to get that information). My work permit is 70 days from expiry. So a little worried
Thanks

shadyhashem said:it is very important to renew the work permit because once the work permit expires and you get into the 90 days grace period...automatically they place your application on hold....it happened with my friend ... he did wait till it expired hoping that he gets his PPR before he pays the work permit fees but they placed the application on hold until renews his wp
curt_cobain said:Was he a PNP skilled category applicant? I am trying to understand if this applicable for PNP skilled category or for all inland applicant (not having legal status in Canada)- thanks.
shadyhashem said:yes he applied under nova scotia PNP..... because once you are in the 90 days persiod... you dont have a status in canada (not worker and not student) so when the officer checked his application and he didnt have a valid status in canada so he put a hold on his application until he renews his status (renew his wp) which leads to take the que again :S
