hi guys,
i am trying to change my address but they dont answer the phone wat shod i do?

Seniors,
My status changed to In Process on July 11th. But I have not received my medical through email or snail mail.
I live in Canada and my file is sent to NDVO. Most of the members I read got their medical in less than a week after status changed to In Process. Should I contact NDVO? Please share your thoughts. Thanks a bunch.

dont worry buddy, mine status changed to In process on 3rd july and one of our other member Litious's status changed to In process on 5th july. we both got our MR in snail mail on 23 July, so you can make a guess that it takes atleast 18-20 days. you should be expecting MR in first week of August for sure, dont worry or take stress, you're pretty close to it.:)

mysteryocean,
Thank you. I feel much better after reading your response.
Good day and best of luck on your next steps.

When i called to book an appointment, i was told that if i have done my medicals in previous 12 months, i dont need to go for medicals. i did my medicals in Nov 2011. the lady at the doctor's office asked me to call CIC- Ottawa and let them know about my medicals. now CIC-Ottawa is not picking up the phone, i am really confused, has such thing happened to anyone here?

How did you undergo medical examination without a request for the same from CIC? The medical examination you underwent in November, 2011 was not because of a request, was it? In that case, you need to take the test. I have no clue why the lady misinformed you like that. Are you in Canada? And, if yes, did you take a medical test as part of your entry to Canada?

What does your PPR letter read? Is it asking you to go for a medical test? I would suggest you to provide all the information that you're required of. Perhaps, that's the wisest and safest thing to do.

Hi,

I got my medicals done today. Doctor told me that he will send the results to Ottawa office and NDVO will collect the info from them. He said he will give the tracking number of the UPS so that I can send an email to NDVO to inform them. Doctor said thatshow it works for others also no matter where the Visa office is the medicals will be sent to Ottawa from US DM.

so I will send the passport , fee and other requested documents. lets see how it goes.

Cheers!

i did my medicals for the work permit to canada. i inform the lady that it was for work permit. and she said medicals are same, and since its well within a year, i dont need to go for medical just call CIC and give them UCI and ask them to re check it. i tried to call CIC but they werent picking up the phone, i am gonna call CIC-ND, lets see what happens!
