I have almost the same timeline, I have applied for BC PNP.
Sent my application to CPP -O on 28/2/2012

They never showed my status on website.

I got MR on 24th April 2012. submitted it on 1st of May. haven't heard anything from them.

I haven't gotten any confirmation of my medical received. E-cas doesn't show any status for my application.

I am in Canada on a work permit and planning to go out in Sept / Oct.

Not sure, should I send PP to CPP-O for Multiple Visa or PR.

any suggestion / help would be appreciated

Your case is not alone. All Ottawa applicants are stuck now. Do not expect any quick from them. So plan accordingly.

Since you applied in Feb, 2012, you may want to invite manubobby to update your case in our TS.

Could anyone please tell me, Hows everyone getting PPR? from snail mail or E-mail.

Not to disappoint you all..but i did my medicals in February 2012 and got it updated in Ecas in Feb itself...but still no updates on my file yet (in process or PPR) my gcms notes in March said background/security not yet started. So lets not be having so much expectations and then get into disapppointments...as Cvd said lets be positive something will turn out in coming months...

@Prasamp...when was your GCMS note printed? Was in February or in March? I have read in this forum that CIC does BC first before issuing MR. Then, they do the SEC CHK after PPR. Please clarify.

Ok guys, seriously... Why do the CEC applications get processed so quickly... look at this forum and look at their timelines! Some even did their medicals in May and got their PPR in June/July!

I don't understand how big of a difference their application is from ours... especially for us QSW applicants -- everything has already been checked by Quebec, they only need to check medical/security...

i've had my medicals done 4 months ago and still no passport request from manila. the wait is painfully long.

I completed medicals on feb 3rd and updated in ecas on feb 17th. As i was changing job i had to move out of canada by march end so i applied to GCMS notes before going out and got the same in mid of april so pretty much they took the notes between 2-3rd week of march which stated no checks initiated...I had to apply for LMO/and new wp which took me to nearly 2months i joined the company and returned to canada in June. If there was a progress in my file they would have atleast rejected my WP request and asked me to get my PR visa stamped instead. for my case i dont think so there is any progress...but the issue is each individual cases differ...who konws you all might get it ahead of mine..sincere advice would be to refrain too much comparison on the timlines i know thats difficult but try

prasamp, did your application ever go to Buffalo?

the AOR mail came from CPP ottawa stating my file is opened in RPC Buffalo...but my GCMS notes clearly stated primary office as CPP Ottawa...and when i sent a case specific enquiry to Buffalo in Month of May 2012 i got a reply within 2 days stating my file is processed at Ottawa...so i doubt my file really went to Buffalo..from NS it went to ottawa...

hmm i also used to think the same..but the reason is those CEC applicants are free to work in any province...so they are not stuck in single province...so thats the reason they get prirotiy? i dono i m guessing... but many times i used to think y didnt i apply in CEC class rather than QSW...i was eligible for CEC at the time of subbmitng my application to NS...

Hi Everyone,
I had a new baby dependent my Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa
I emailed CIC it's been 5 days no reply.
Do I need to wait for their email? Don't know what exact forms to send?
Am I going to send them photo copies of passport and birth certificate like what I did when we applied?
Do I need to send Additional Family forms myself and spouse?
Our family have upcoming medical this 3rd week of July, is it ok to have our medical first then wait for
the baby's medical? Please advise thanks.
