Hi guys,

I got my finger printing done today. It cost me 81.50$. It would be sent electronically to Ottawa and would be run through all the databases that there is. If no match is found, they would mail it back to the designated address in a week or two (else it might take upto 90 business days).
From my conversation with the officers, they usually do a name check for immigration and if they do not find enough data or find any criminal record with the same name, then they ask for this step. So hopefully, the other cases in this forum we can assume that the criminal check went fine and the status could change any day.

Another thing to note here is that our file is still being handled by Ottawa and not by a Visa Office. I wonder when does it get transferred there. Seems like there is a long way to go :(

Hope this information helps.

Thanks

All work should be completed at Ottawa, except ISSUING VISA STICK which will be done by Detroit. So VO is not a concern now.

Hello Guys,

Just wanted to share my timeline:

BCPNP - Skilled Stream
Application received:March 16th,2012
Fees taken out:March 23rd,2012
AOR received: May 21st,2012
Medical Request: May 22nd,2012.
Medical Complete: June 9th,2012.

I have been checking ecas system most days but they have not changed the status to medical results received yet. Our application has been forwarded to Ottawa. Has anyone else a similar timeline? I am wondering how long it will take to have a decision. Any help appreciated!

Hello,

I'm also a BCPNP nominee, applied early December though...you seem to be speeding along just fine. I just got a request for passport copies (today ;D) and the Right of Res Fee as I did not submit it with my original application. The email said they'll take 5-10 working days to send out the visa documentation stuff to me. Check out my timeline for my journey though my VO is Sydney, Australia.

Cheers,

OM

CONGRATULATIONS, Om.Indeed very good news. Enjoy now.

Hello everyone,

I got question, I have applied under AINP. I have submitted application to CIO,Sydney in May, 2012 without Police Clearance Report (FBI report). My original VO was Buffalo but its closed now. I had received AOR and request for Medicals on June 22, 2012 from CIO, Sydney. They also told CPP, Ottawa will communicate by default from here. So far I have not heard anything from CPP, Ottawa. Should I contact CPP, Ottawa and send my Police Clearance Report?, this would save my time

Thanks

Hi Nolivy,
If there is a need to affix a stamp, you may do so. Just like in my case I have sent the docs to CIO recently through DHL and there is no stamp needed to affix. The only one I affixed was the green stamp with PROVINCIAL NOMINEE name which was included from the letter of MPNP.

Hope it helps, good luck!

Thanks a lot.......where did you exactly affixed the green stamp to the envelope? Any specific areas to put it?

Hi Nolivy,

I have just affixed it outside the envelope in between your name(to the upper left) and the addressee. Please do note that the envelope has its corresponding size. By the way, may i know your timeline? It seems that we have the same.

Goodluck to your application.

Hello RIO446, Suhpat

Any luck. Does it change from medical received to decision made ?

What a surprise.. :o

Received an email from London visa office stating that my file will be sent to Islamabad visa office for processing and it will take around 8 weeks to transfer the file to the new visa office.

Damn..it took almost 4 months to hear after having AOR from CIO and what i hear, is that we wasted four month to figure out where your case should be process...... Strange, isn't it?

Anyone through the same situation?

Cheers,

Arise
