My medical report received by Ottawa on May 14, 2012. So far no “Medical received” in my ECAS. Any thought about this?

I am in the USA. I called CIC with the number 613-944-4000 (in the National Capital Region and outside Canada), I selected “immigration service” button but it said the toll free in not available in your region. How to contact CIO outside of Canada? Thanks.
It should not take more than one month. Do you have any other family members? If it has not been updated, there could be 2 possible reasons: a. medical results of all members have not been received, b. they may require addition tests on any of the members.
These days, Ottawa is updating the 'medical results have been received' in less than a month.
Also, I am not sure how to contact them from outside Canada. Perhaps you can email them.

The medical report is about my family, 2 adults 2 children.

I got the delivery proof from Canada Post (sent by US POST) and it shows the signature of "COUND." if you , and any folks here, used Canada post service, could you pls tell if it is the same person to sign your medical package?

CIC will contact you via postal mail. Did you try to obtain a copy of your lab report and chest x-ray report from the DMP? IF DMP finds some serious problem he will let you know straight away and will ask you to undergo additional testing and/or see a specialist. In your case he hasn't.
CIC usually asks if you have not a clear chest X-ray. Hope this helps.

Edmontonbound, the system don't let me reply on your PM. I don't know why.

To answer your query, I am not a US Visa holder. I have been in USA (2008~2010) before I moved to Canada and currently working at Alberta with TRV & work permit.
My history on country travels are three (only those that I stayed more than six months) plus Canada and my home country. I have submitted police certificate for those countries (except Canada) during application. Moreover, I have included my travel with less than six months in Supplementary Information Your Travels (IMM5562).

Security check needed as well for my spouse so I might say on our application that security check might be an issue.

dont worry bkd,It takes times....in my case ecase updated after 1.5 months. Also this ecas system is retarded.Only one clerk is doing that and they got tons of file.So my understanding is give them some time so it gets updated. And hope processing is ON......

Thank you, PSJUC. How did you get a job in Alberta? I am searching for jobs. Haven't got an interview so far. Please advice. Thanks again.

@ Pari123

I applied Alberta PNP (AINP) at 2009 with my H1b visa, they once opened the program under US holder visa category until August 23, 2010. Unfortunately, they not accepting applications under the AINP U.S. Visa Holder Category anymore :(
Copy and paste link below on your web browser for detail information about that program

Yes, I applied under AINP - US H1-B visa holder category in Feb, 2010. Alberta stopped this PNP category in Aug, 2010. Now, only 2 ways to apply for Canadian PR under PNP are perhaps a. Get a job offer in Canada, b. learn French to be eligible for QSW. Others might chime in for Pari123.

Hope this helps.

Hi guys,

I have a question for all. Once the address appears on eCAS until what time it should remain on there??

Mine is on my eCAS since mid-May and I got the medical received update on June 15.

Since then it is still displaying my address.
What does this mean?

Thanks.
