i guess.. they will send it to NDVO itself .. n from my understanding .. I guess the files were transferred to HKVO to ease things at NDVO.. so I guess they do all the background check and criminality checks on behalf of NDVO and our file goes into process and once they are done with the checks they issue MR RPRF and PPR.. again.. just an assumption... they have requested u to send the passport and RPRF to NDVO right??? so I am sure the DMP will send it NDVO itself and if medicals are good to go.. then they will issue the visa.. cheers bud 8)

Hi Mannu,

Good day, Do you know about this?

Starting July 1, 2012 - most Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) applicants to semi- or low-skilled professions will need language testing. This test will show whether your skills meet a minimum standard in each of these four categories: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

This does not apply if you are a temporary foreign worker in a NOC C & D occupation, and who:

enter Canada on or before July 1, 2012, and
are nominated by an employer under the PNP streams by July 1, 2013.

That means all who are not gona make it to Canada before July 1, 2012 have to provide the IELTS result (Including the Family streamer's), Right??

Arise

Hi there .. i guess its meant for people who apply to get nominated post 1st July.. since we are already nominated and awaiting visa.. I doubt it would be a problem.. cheers..

I called the CIC call center, and the agent I spoke to told me that PPR usually comes maximum 3 months after medicals is received by them... I don't know if it's the same for all VO and for all types of PR applicants, or just for those with a case similar to mine (QSW, CPP Ottawa)... gosh I hope this will be the case...

it is a good news for CA/USA applicants that Buffalo VO was closed. We will get faster processing than before because we have 5 US VO to process NOW, rather than only 1 VO. i.e. Buffalo, as before. Also, all CA/US application will be processed at Ottawa first, then transferred to one of five US VO. In my case, my file will follow following map:

before: CIO->Ottawa->Buffalo->Detroit
Now: CIO->Ottawa->Detroit. Cheers!!!

CIC Call Center: +1-888-242-2100... Maybe you want to ask too how long it usually takes between MR and PPR to see if we get the same response?
