hi there,

If you got any visa file from CIC before like study permit, work permit, TRV, etc, there should be client ID on the paper, which is uniform as UID in your any other applications to CIC.

Yes, please let us know how you got your UID without receiving anything from CIO or VO!

It is Client ID on your other immigration document like study permit, work permit, TRV, etc.

Mine is that way (and others with Buffalo VOs, i think)..I received only one AOR from CPP-ottawa who is processing my application, on behalf of Buffalo. MR came along with the email.
