@ bkd1969.... Hi there.... I would like to keep in touch with other ainp/Buffalo VO applicants. Hence, I'm contacting. If I may ask....are you in USA and applied under H1-b visa holder category?

yes, I am in AINP US H1B Strategic Recruitment Stream, and I am in US now. I hope I can meet you when we land in Alberta this year. Just keep hope alive.

you received AOR/MR only, not Passport request. Your case sets a strong example that faith and patience is the only treasure we can rely on to survive this uncertain journey. I will give them two more weeks before contacting them for the status of my application. It is hard, but just hang in there. Tommorow, anything can happen. This is why we keep our hope prevailing and alive.

"Tomorrow, anything can happen."

This is incredibly true and beautiful. If it were a Facebook post I would have clicked Like :)

@ BKD1969
Thanks for the reply....I hope so as well...are you looking for any job in Alberta? I paid CanEmp.net to find me a job. Looks like I have been scammed. Not a complete shock though! I took the gamble :P. Hasn't worked yet. I am working in oil and gas industry. And you?

Yes, rightly said guys! Patience is a Virtue ;)

so whats the verdict? did someone really get PPR or misunderstood MR as PPR? i think i am in unique case of not knowing whats my visa office gonna be?

Did you got PPR with your MR?

Hi there,

yes i got Medical request along with Landing fees, passport submission & police clearance for foreign country i lived more than 6 months.

guys people who have sent docs to respected visa office's are getting medical request along with PPR & landing fees, like i got 1.

however i don't know about those who sent docs to CIO, sydney, but i guess they will also receive the same thing.

Did y already receive your AOR? I think it should say where your VO is.

Hi Guys,

I had my Medical exam done yesterday and I think in a week or two the ecas status should be updated to Medical received etc. I haven't yet paid my 'Right of Permanent Resident Fee'. Would the Visa Office send me a mail about it? or do I have send it out on my own? Will that save processing time?
May be I am getting impatient in not knowing how long the wait is gonna be :)

Congrats Jonmonc!! I did my medicals on feb, 22 and no changes in the e-case yet. I am worried about because others have been change in 2 weeks. I hope when it change, they will start processing our application. Any clue...
Thanks

Hi Mayonnaise I'm still here in Manila..maybe you could check your local post office that's were the delay usually happens..our timeline are almost the same, it's a good thing we can track each other..it will come no worries..God bless :)

i received mine 2 weeks after Manila's AOR, on March 14.
Had my medicals done yesterday.

I received my medical request n March 14 then I had my medicals done the day after. Can someone please update the tracksheet. Thank you :)

Here are some tips:

1.) Medical fees varies from one clinic to another. I paid around $300 (Doctor's fee ($180), xray ($50), lab ($40)), but some clinics charge as high as $400. so scout around for cheaper DMP's.

2.) NOT ALL DMP's will have all the facilities in just one building. Yesterday, I had to see the doctor, drive to a different location for my xray and then drive to another different location for my lab tests. Its best if you can find a DMP that has xrays and lab in just one building, saves you all the hassle.

I got my AOR and MR this morning 3/16 :D . Please update the spreadsheet.

See below, email instructs me to send all correspondance to Buffalo though the Ottawa office sent it. Where is my file in actuality? in Ottawa or Buffalo? I'd like to send my FBI report as well as RPRF ASAP but I'm afraid to send the report in Buf if file is actually in Ottawa...don't want anything to get lost as I don't have any other original copies. Help...what are your thougths?

This is to advise you that your application for permanent residence has been received and that a file has been created for the Regional Program Centre (RPC) in Buffalo. The RPC will be processing your files. Therefore all correspondence and enquiries must be sent to the RPC. Your new application and paper file numbers appear above. Quote these numbers when corresponding with the RPC.
