Sudoman, Michael_2011, and MH_334:

OK, it has been more than 6 weeks since CIO received applications, and the application fees have been taken away, and no AOR YET. What is your plan, just waiting or sending them email to follow up? My application has been received just 6 weeks, and money was cashed also. I am thinking to contact them to check the status. What is the email address I can use? anybody can give me one? thanks.

hey there...no harm in sending an email. Just make sure your application was received more than 6 weeks ago.

Hi I need to clear my mind on this..we were given by the embassy "30 days upon receipt" to make arrangements for our medical examination..please correct me if I'm wrong, is it the day I receive it then count 30 days or the day it was receive in our post office? the "Medical Report Section A" inside the envelope was stamped by the embassy March 1. 2012.

we are planning to have our medical examination next week, but my wife is about to have her menstrual period so we would like to delay it further sometime 1st week of April..or is it okay if my daughter and I will have our medical exam next week and then my wife will follow when she's ready?

The mail was in our local post office March 8..then the postman handed it to us March 12..therefore the 30-day period covers until April 12?

Thanks in advance :)

you received AOR/MR only, not Passport request. Your case sets a strong example that faith and patience is the only treasure we can rely on to survive this uncertain journey. I will give them two more weeks before contacting them for the status of my application. It is hard, but just hang in there. Tommorow, anything can happen. This is why we keep our hope prevailing and alive.
