hi
can plz anyone told me the total processing time of pnp ....cic website shows 10 months from receiving the application...is this time computation from cio rec the file or from vo?

i think 10 months is common to economic class, in which pnp is included. But since PNP is suppose to be fast track - we might just need 3 to 5 months in total.
is this time computation from cio rec the file or from vo? - CIO

Keep in mind that the CIC website shows that the processing times are "based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between January 1, 2011, and December 31, 2011." Because as of December 1, 2011, PNP and QSW applicants have to send in their application through the CIO, the processing time on the website will not be reliable for those who submitted their application to the CIO. Since the page is updated quarterly, we will have to wait until mid to late April to see how long each visa office processes PNP/QSW applicants under this new rule.

Hello Guys :)

I just received my AOR & MR today.

the strange thing in the email , they mentioned that my VO is Buffalo and that it was transferred to Ottawa (CPP-O), although that my original VO is Cairo , Egypt.

I sent an inquiry about this issue , I hope it's not a mistake and things would move faster.

Of course (thank you guys for the info you provide on the forum) , I tried to log to the Ecas , and it's not yet updated.

My best wishes for you all.

Hi,

I have updated your info on the track sheet, did you receive your AOR from CIO and VO or just CIO?? Cheers

Hey all...just a quick question. I sent my application to NS without the FBI clearance as it was going to take long to receive. I finally got it...should I send it now or wait until I get my AOR with file number so it doesn't get lost (I only have 1 original)?
I sent a cover letter explaining the reason why I didn't send with application and stated I'd sent via courier as soon as I receive it. I also had not sent the Right of Residency Fee; which I plan to send along with FBI record...it's ok to do without being asked right?
Thanks for the input.

I think you should wait until you hear from them, coz you will be getting AOR from CIO and soon after that your application would be sent to your concerned visa office, and any further communication should be with the visa office, so basically when the visa office issues you with AOR and MR, they might request for PCC for additional docs, at least this is what I know of, but you might want to email and inquiry about it with CIO and VO as well just to be on the safer side.. hope this helps.. cheers :)

also considering that your draft has already been cashed, you can be happy that CIO has determined that your file is complete.. so good luck .. :)

Hello to all!!!

Kindly help me please.... We are QSW nominee and it was clearly stated in our CSQ that our Visa Office will be Singapore but in our IM0008 form we put Philippines as our Visa Office... Would CIO follow what is stated in our CSQ or grant our request to have it process in philippines??? We are currently residing in singapore on work permit.... Is there anyone who use requested to use their country of citizenship as their VO rather than using their current residence and was granted??? Please advice so we can have at least an estimate of how long our application process will be. Appreciate for your kind assistance and response to my queries. :)

Thank you in advance and god bless us all!!!

A.

I am not really sure about how it works, but I think when you get nomination from the province, CSQ in ur case, a copy of the nomination letter is usually sent to the visa office, and at the time, you had given Singapore as your visa office rite? so they would have sent it there, but now the problem could be when your application goes to Manila and they dont have your nomination letter there, I dont know if it could be a big problem or not. Personally, I dont think it would (just an assumption though). But I would recommend that you send an email to CIO, SIn and Manila office as well and explain to them about your problem, I am sure they will have a solution for this. In the mean time start a new topic with this query, so I am sure there will be more responses.. hope this helps .. cheers ..

Actually I can not understand well.
You see Didn't receive from CIO , I received the email for CPP-O Ottawa office , so it's a totally different thing than expected from my side.
There's no mentioning for Cairo Office or CIO.

So I'm still waiting for their reply on my inquiry
